              Release 8.0 System Requirements

It's time to upgrade to Great Plains version 8.0! The upgrade includes new features and functionality across the modules, enhanced reporting and query tools, deeper integrations with Microsoft products, and a new look. Start getting ready to take advantage of these features by reviewing the system requirements. Please note that you must be on Great Plains 7.0 or 7.5 to upgrade. If you are not on a SQL database, support for your system expired on December 31, 2004. If you are on version 7.0, support expired March 30, 2005. If you're on SQL and 7.5, there are other reasons to upgrade.
